The days dedicated to Responsible Digital, organised by Digital League and the Campus Région du numérique Auvergne-Rhône-Aples took place on the 5th, 6th and 13th of October 2022 and Sopht had the opportunity to contribute to it! Here is a look back at these days rich in information… Plenary conferences, round tables, hackathon and workshops to understand the challenges of the environmental impact of digital technology and to promote responsible digital technology within your organization.

5th of October

This opening day provided an opportunity to discover the government’s roadmap and the regulatory framework on digital and the environment with the intervention of Claire Dorville, in charge of the responsible digital mission at the General Commission for Sustainable Development (CGDD) of the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, with the presentation of the various legal texts, in particular law n°2021-15485 of 15 November 2021 aiming to reduce the digital environmental footprint

The afternoon was dedicated to digital and industrial business leaders, teams and students to get together and discuss the digital challenges of tomorrow with multiple round tables on :

  • Why digital responsibility?
  • Good practices around the responsible digital
  • Feedback, key levers and tips to mobilize and unite employees

6th of October

Competitive day with an active participation of Sopht during the “Responsible Digital” Hackaton. Nearly 72 participants challenged each other to answer the challenges of 6 partners.

At the end of this challenge, the teams presented their project to the jury to evaluate them partly on the criteria of project feasibility and its environmental impact. Sopht won the Hackaton thanks to the skills of the students and their coach who made great progress in just one day!

13th of October

Last but not least ! New day with new conferences and workshops. The ball was opened by the conference “Corporate strategy through the prism of Responsible Digital” in which the CEO and Co-founder of Sopht, Jérémie Veg, spoke about the issues that motivate reflection on the implementation of a Responsible Digital strategy.

Finally, this day was also an opportunity for Sopht and other startups like Rzilient to pitch their project to make people discover tech’, green and innovative solutions!
