You know the saying about the shoemaker’s children going barefoot?

When working in responsible digital practices, that’s simply something we can’t afford. It’s hard to tell our clients, “you should improve your IT,” if our own practices aren’t aligned internally.

That’s why, in 2023, we obtained the Level 1 Responsible Digital label.
Two years later, we reached a score of 864 out of 1000.

Real progress but not a finish line.

What we’ve done

The audit showed that we’ve made significant progress across three key areas.

First, ensuring real buy-in from our teams. Not because it’s imposed, but because they understand why it matters. We’ve invested in skills development when people understand the impact of their actions, things start to change.

Second, managing our infrastructure, data, and equipment responsibly. Not in silos, but as a coherent whole. It’s more demanding to implement, but it’s what truly makes a difference.

Finally, embedding responsible digital practices at the core of what we deliver to our clients. If we expect them to change, we need to show that it’s both possible—and already working within our own organization.

That’s what these 864 points represent. Not a marketing campaign, but real, tangible work.

Our commitments for the next two years

We’ve defined 21 concrete actions to go further.

In 2026, responsible digital is fully integrated into our business objectives. This means it’s no longer just an important topic—it’s something that is measured, managed, and tracked over time.

We’re also putting in place indicators to monitor our progress long-term, and we’ve chosen to speak openly about it, particularly on our social channels.

Among our commitments:

  • Refurbishment: 100% of our screens and 50% of our computers will be refurbished by 2027

  • Energy efficiency: 100% of our computers will switch to sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity

  • Eco-design: evaluation of our solution against the RGESN framework, with actions integrated into our roadmap

  • Impact: annual publication of a concrete use case showing the carbon gains achieved by our clients using Sopht

  • Accessibility: continuous improvement of the accessibility of our solution and website, supported by audits and dedicated action plans

These are not vague promises. They are written, time-bound, and measurable.

We will keep going

Sopht’s mission is to make digital more responsible by helping organizations understand and reduce the impact of their IT.

And behind every commitment we’re making for the years ahead, there’s a message to our clients: this transformation is within their reach too.

This milestone is a foundation we will continue to improve, and we will hold ourselves accountable.
